Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the milestone 30th ECSS Annual Congress in Rimini, 1-4 July 2025!

To ensure a smooth Congress, we request you to pre-book your lunches at the Congress and confirm your attendance at the Welcome and Farewell Receptions, the Bengt Saltin Run and the Friday Night Party.

After paying your Congress registration fee, scroll down to the section ‘myCongress’ in your ECSS account and click on ‘myCongress Bookings’ to make your bookings.

Lunches & Receptions

While lunches and receptions are included in your Congress registration fee, it is mandatory to pre-book to enjoy your lunch and attend receptions! Dietary requirements can be indicated whilst pre-booking.

Lunches will be served from Wednesday to Friday. Please see the menu here.
Hot drinks will be provided throughout the day from Tuesday to Friday from 08:00.
Water stations are available at the catering stations in the SportEx area (Piazza Hall). Please bring your own bottle and help us to avoid waste.
The Welcome Reception will take place in the SportEx area (Piazza Hall), immediately after the Opening Ceremony on Tuesday, 1 July, 19:00-20:00. Complimentary welcome drinks and salty snacks will be served.
The Farewell Reception is scheduled after the Closing Ceremony on Friday, 4 July, 18:30-20:30, in front of the main entrance of the Palacongressi di Rimini. Complimentary welcome drinks and finger food will be served.

Bengt Saltin Run

The 9th Bengt Saltin Charity Run honours Professor Bengt Saltin, an ECSS Founding Member and Patron. The event is organised by ECSS in close collaboration with our Italian Local Organising Committee and Rimini Marathon.

The run will take place on Thursday, 3 July at 07:00. The 6 km (3.73 miles) route will run counterclockwise along the Rimini coastline, passing by the harbour and historic city centre, before returning through a scenic park and finishing along the coastline. The ECSS arch will mark both the start and finish line. View the detailed course here.

To ensure a smooth experience, police and track marshals from Rimini Marathon will be stationed along the course to guide participants and manage street closures where necessary.

Friday Night Party

This year’s Friday Night Party will take place at Coconuts on Friday, 4 July, after the Farewell Reception. The doors open at 21:30 and a complementary drink voucher will be provided at the entrance.

The venue will have an exclusive ECSS indoor and outdoor section with two DJs guaranteeing our signature Congress vibe. Additionally, ECSS participants will also have access to the public party areas. There will be bars (cash and credit card) for beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks.

Please bring your Congress badge (print out suffices) with you along with your ID, as it is your official ticket to the Friday Night Party.
