Join the ECSS Mentoring Programme
as Mentor or Mentee!
Dear [Name],
The ECSS is delighted to introduce the ECSS Mentoring Programme for Early Career Researchers (ECR). The aim is to support their career paths by connecting them with our experienced ECSS Fellow and Member community to discuss any challenge one may face in the field of scientific work and career.
Topics may range from career planning, to seeking advice on publication strategies or any other career-related matters. Along the way, the programme will help mentees build international connections, understand the complex demands in the academic system and learn more about conflict management.
The ECSS Mentoring Programme aims at an 18 to 24 months collaboration between the mentee and mentor with the option of extension upon the agreement of both parties.
After successful application and matchmaking, the programme will kick off with the first meeting during the 30th ECSS Annual Congress in Rimini. Further information on this meeting will be shared separately with all confirmed participants prior to the Congress.
How to apply
The ECRs must be ECSS members and post-doctoral candidates, PhD students, recent Master graduates or individuals very early in their scientific career.
ECRs keen to be a part of the programme should send their application via email to mentoring@sport-science.org no later than 30 January 2025 (24:00 CET).
