The city of Glasgow played a gracious host to the 29th Annual Congress, 2-5 July 2024. An impressive 2218 participants joined to exchange over 1660 scientific presentations. Congratulation again to all winners of the ECSS Young Investigators Award, GSSI Award, EJSS Best Paper Award, Travel Grants and Bengt Saltin Run!
A sincere gratitude to our host institution - The University of the West of Scotland – and a heartfelt thank you to all of you for making this congress such a success and for creating long-lasting memories!

Hello, ECSS Rimini 2025
The 30th ECSS Annual Congress in Rimini from 1-4 July 2025 will be jointly hosted by the Universities of Bologna and Padova. In Glasgow, the traditional baton was handed over to Prof Samuele Marcora, Congress President and Prof Marco Narici, Congress Vice President of ECSS Rimini 2025.
Help us in creating a high-quality scientific programme for Rimini by submitting a proposal for an invited symposia or a plenary session until 15 November 2024, 24:00 CET. Please note that submissions can only be done by ECSS members and via your ECSS account!
