We are delighted to invite you to the 31st Annual Congress of the European College of Sport Science in the Olympic Capital of Lausanne, Switzerland, from 7 to 10 July 2026 at the world-class conference centre, SwissTech Convention Center.
Welcoming everyone ‘Back to the Olympic Capital’, the Congress will be jointly hosted by the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
Founded in 1537, the UNIL hosts 17,000 students from nearly 130 nationalities and is a key player in sport science through its Institute of Sport Science (ISSUL) and Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Sport (CIRSport). These centres focus on training, performance, health, sustainability and the governance of sport, offering programmes from Bachelor to Doctorate level. Also located in Lausanne, the EPFL is one of Europe’s most international science and technology universities. With over 40 labs involved in sports research, EPFL connects innovation and sport across fields like data analysis, equipment design and public health impact.
