Submit your proposal for a Plenary Session or Invited Symposium!

Dear [Name],

We are delighted to announce the 30th Annual Congress of the European College of Sport Science in the vibrant city of Rimini, Italy, from 1-4 July 2025 at one of Europe’s state-of-the-art conference centres, the Palacongressi di Rimini.

Under the theme ‘Sport Science from Renaissance to the Millennial Era’, the congress will be jointly hosted by the Universities of Bologna and Padova.

The University of Bologna was founded in 1088 and is the oldest university in the western world with five campuses (Bologna, Cesena, Forlì, Ravenna, Rimini) and a branch in Buenos Aires. It has produced influential figures such as Petrarch, Cassini and Laura Bassi. Founded in 1222, the University of Padova boasts a legacy of influential scholars like Copernicus, Vesalius, Galileo and William Harvey and is famous for the inauguration of the first permanent anatomical theatre in 1594.

Further information on both universities can be found here.
